Busted are James Bourne,
Mattie-Jay and Charlie Simpson.
After the departure of Ki and Owen, the remaining members James and Matt held
auditions for a 3rd member. Charlie stood out from the rest (despite the fact
they thought he was Dutch) and he joined the band soon after.
After getting signed to Universal Records in March 2002, the band has been a
major success over the past year, gaining many fans along the way.
Some of their achievements so far include numerous number ones, all singles
going top five, a triple platinum selling debut album and much much more.
With their unique sound, Busted bring something new and refreshing to todays
music industry, and are proud of the fact that they write and play their own
music. They are also the second biggest recording artist at the moment in
England, being beaten only by Coldplay.
They also know they are a pop band, and don't claim to be otherwise.
